The route will not come together
A trip needs a start and a destination before stop suggestions have somewhere to land. Refresh the stops after both are set. You can also add a stop yourself and reorder the list.

Troubleshooting
The map is empty, or nearby places are missing
Searching around your current location needs location permission. You can also type a destination and explore that place without using your current location.
A saved trip or place disappeared
Trips and favorite places are kept on the device. Reinstalling the app, or moving to a different phone, can leave them behind.
Calendar events did not show up
Use the calendar option on the trip and allow the app to add events if your phone asks. Then check the calendar you selected, not only the default one.

Where can I download Road Trip Adventure Planner?
It is on the App Store. The listing shows which devices it supports. The app has been available since April 2026.
Does it replace Maps?
No. You plan and organize the trip in the app, then you can open a stop in Maps when it is time to drive.
Can I save trips and places?
Yes. Trips and favorite places stay in the app so you can come back to them.
Can I add the trip to my calendar?
Yes. From the trip, you can add the dates to a calendar on your device.
How much does it cost?
